My brother and I worked together to come up with this term, the generic version of “vaguebooking.” If the name wasn’t so appropriate for what I’ve already over-under-shared on this blog, I’d start a new one, but I’m too attached to this one already, so I’ve just changed the overly-long name to lead with it. This, kids, is why you should learn to focus for yourself. Also why cameras these days should have better focus aids in the viewfinder.

I miss the ocean already. Last time we were coming home from an ocean vacation, the New Mexico skies greeted us with an amazing display of clouds and light which prompted my partner to day “around here, we keep our oceans in the sky.” I should know better than to expect that greeting every time, but I have to admit to being disappointed not to get it this time.  I did get to enjoy this spectacular interruption of what had been the flattest sea of clouds I every remember seeing, though. And I do get to come home to these smiling faces, too, so don't cry for me.
